Karsten Gerloff works in Open Source Governance at Siemens Corporate Technology, supporting one of the world's largest engineering firms in engaging profitably with Free Software. From 2009 to 2015, he was the president of the Free Software Foundation Europe, where he led the organisation's work to put users in control of technology. As an activist, Karsten has a decade's worth of experience in representing the Free Software community's interests towards policy makers, businesses and the general public.
