I am the maintainer of the free search engine software YaCy.net and I started to publish software with the GPL license in 2004. I have a Master of Computer Science degree and work as freelance consultant since 2000. Since 2008 my professional work has a relation to the free software I published. I created the first architecture for the German Digital Library because of my work for free software and I design and develop search engines for Universities, Government and Companies.
